Founder of Wyrd Wool Studio

Creative spirit. Detail devotee. Maker of magic.

Tracy is the heart behind Wyrd Wool Studio — a studio where imagination meets craftsmanship. Specialising in resin art, 3D printing, and needle felt creations, she pours love into every piece, transforming raw materials into soulful, one-of-a-kind treasures.

With an eye for whimsy and a passion for the handmade, Tracy’s work celebrates the beauty of imperfection, the joy of tactile design, and the stories that objects can tell.

Whether sculpting celestial wall art or crafting miniature worlds in resin, Tracy brings dreams to life — one lovingly made piece at a time.

The Studio

Wyrd Wool Studio grew from a love of making things with your hands — the kind of slow, meditative craft that demands your full attention and rewards it with something entirely yours.

It started with needle felting: a needle, some fleece, and the strange satisfaction of watching a flat sheet of fibre become a three-dimensional creature. Then came resin — the alchemy of pouring liquid crystal around botanicals and watching it cure into something permanent and peculiar.

‘Wyrd’ is an Old English word for fate, or the uncanny — the sense that things are stranger and more connected than they appear. That’s what we’re going for: objects with a little weight to them. Things you keep.

Every piece leaves this studio made by hand, with care, and with a stubborn refusal to settle for ordinary.

How It’s Made

01

Sketch & Design

Every piece starts with an idea on paper. Tracy sketches out the design before a single material is touched.

02

Make by Hand

Needle felt pieces are worked stitch by stitch. Resin pours are timed to the minute and cured in stages.

03

Finish & Check

Each piece is sanded, polished, or hand-stitched to finish. Only pieces Tracy would be proud to keep go out.

“Every piece is made with intention — a little wyrd, a lot of heart.”
